Betty Catroux exhibition at the Yves-Saint-Laurent Museum
As part of the exhibition Féminin Singulier, the Yves-Saint-Laurent Museum highlights the famous French muse of fashion designer Betty Catroux whose unique style continues to inspire fashionistas around the world.
From March 3 to October 11, it is therefore all the wardrobe of the former model that can be admired, a total of more than fifty outfits that represents what was for Saint Lawrence «The ideal Androgyne» theme that fascinated the fashion designer.
More than 180 Haute Couture pieces and 138 pieces created for the brand Saint Laurent Rive Gauche are also present.
All the clothes presented reflect the beauty sought at the time, the standards of fashion and the fascination of Saint Laurent for strong creations, all in class and finesse, as evoked by the muse Betty Catroux.
