"DIVINE MARILYN "AT GALERIE JOSEPH
After 2 successful exhibitions dedicated to Steve McQueen and the French singer Johnny Hallyday, the Galerie Joseph choose to pay tribute to the sublime and sparkling Marilyn Monroe.
More than 200 pictures realized by 3 of the biggest names in American photography (Sam Shaw, Bert Stern et Milton Greene) make us discover the amazing metamorphosis of Norma Jeane Baker, at the root of the legendary "Pou-Pou-Pi-Dou".
From the legendary picture with her white dress stooded on a subway grate, to more close and natural shots dating back to her childhood and even from the famous photo session realized few weeks before her death, this exhibition tries hard to reveal the real identity of this coveted pin-up.
