L’Eté de Saint Germain; an open-air pop-up bar
In the incredible setting of the Palais Abbatial, just a stone's throw from the Church of Saint Germain des Prés, this summer you can find an open air pop-up bar called L'Eté de Saint Germain (The Summer of Saint Germain). A name destined to resonate with beautiful memories of the season. Just behind the abbey, in the shade of the hundred-year-old trees and in front of this wonderful building that dates from 1586, you can join in with a game of petanque or sit quietly and sip a very fresh apple cider or a Parisian Gallia beer.
The delicacies offered by Mesdemoiselles Madeleines are another pleasure that should not be missed, as is the brunch served by Zoone on weekends. There, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the Boulevard Saint Germain, between the garlands of lights and the multicoloured chairs, you’ll hear nothing but the song of the cicadas!
