Night of Museums in Paris
It's official, on July 3, 2021, after two digital editions, the Night of Museums will take place in real! The public will once again have the opportunity to visit many museums and cultural places that will organize unique animations with prestigious guests and exceptional installations for an evening or a whole night. For art lovers, but not only, it will be the occasion to feel again the joy of discovering the richness of the Parisian museums' collections.
We advise you to take advantage of this opportunity to visit the essential museums of Paris, such as the Louvre Museum, which opens its doors for free and gives you access to all its works, and also to discover the unique events organized especially for this occasion. Here is our selection:
❊ The Zadkine Museum, dedicated to the Russian sculptor Ossip Zadkine, plays the music card with a strolling concert. The original compositions of Frederic Daverio, composer and accordion virtuoso, will accompany texts by various authors, including poems by Zadkine himself. You will have the opportunity to walk from the studio to the museum garden thanks to an original staging by Emmanuel Houzé.
❊ The Petit Palais plunges us into the world of drawing with the association Les Soirées dessinées. You will have access to the permanent collections and also to the temporary exhibition "Edition Limitée" focused on drawing. In addition, you will be able to attend the creation of ten artists from the association Les Soirées Dessinées who will create drawings inspired by the museum's collections using different techniques.
❊ The Museum of Modern Art will open at night, to allow as many visitors as possible to discover its works, and to allow you to attend the exhibitions of Henry Darger, Jeux de guerre and Pierre Gaudibert, Vers le musée du futur with a museum mediator. And for music lovers, the program OUTSIDER a musical and visual performance.
