Seafood and sun at Huguette
This is the kind of terrace we like. It has more than a hint of the beach about it, which is how it should be for a seafood bistro. Huguette stands like a fisherman's hut behind dense tufts of beach grasses and is sheltered with a blue and white striped marine awning, having dropped anchor in the harbour of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Inspired by the kind of ‘Crab Shack’ eatery you can find on shorelines the world over, it’s the ideal place to taste the freshly caught fruits of the sea while catching a little sun. The menu, which varies according to the latest catch, focuses on the best of the Brittany, Normandy and Atlantic coasts. Try the chef's oysters and fish prepared fried or in soup, raw or in garlic, and even in poke bowls or dim sum. At the end of the cruise, it's hard not to be carried away by the chocolate churros and salted butter caramel, without which this seaside-style experience would not be complete!
