« The Moon. » at the Grand Palais
“Aim for the Moon, if you miss you may hit a star.”
- Oscar Wilde
This year the humanity celebrates 50-year anniversary of the first human step on the Moon. For this occasion, the Grand Palais organizes an exhibition dedicated to the most fascinated star of all times. The retrospective gathers artworks and the scientific objects that embody the countless visions and emotions inspired by the Moon. From the antique era to the contemporary art, from Armstrong to Chagall - let’s go together on a journey to the Moon and back! For those of you who won’t be able to visit the exhibition, the Grand Palais launches its first podcast (available in French only) dedicated to astronomy.
