The most beautiful Masterpieces of Budapest exhibited in Paris
This is a unique event not to be missed. While the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts, the famous Szépmüvészeti, undertakes an extensive programme of renovation that obliges it to close its doors for a while, some of the most remarkable masterpieces in its collection, as well as a selection from the Hungarian National Gallery, are on display at the Musée du Luxembourg. Dürer, Cranach, Greco, Tiepolo, Goya, Manet, Gauguin and Kokoschka are among the great artists represented by some 85 paintings, drawings and sculptures. Along with ten iconic works of Hungarian art these recreate, within the surroundings of this Parisian museum, a sense of splendour, while offering an unexpected perspective on the artistic heritage of Europe.JR.
