The Pierre Soulages's exhibition
Considered the greatest living French artist, the master of painting Pierre Soulages returns at the Pompidou Center for his 100th birthday!
Associated since 1940 with the movement of abstract art, he became famous for his recurring use of the black colour which he called «black-light» or «outrenoir». For his birthday, no less than 14 paintings, some of which have never been revealed before, have been added to the walls of the center for this exceptional exhibition.From 11 December 2019 to 9 March 2020,
